Qualify
- Educate the client on the Energy Retrofit Design/Build Process
- Interviews with the client’s financial leadership to understand their financial criteria, structure, and desired outcomes.
- Interviews with the client’s maintenance leadership to understand their master plan, wish list, existing conditions and assessment, failing equipment and systems, and desired outcomes.
Preliminary Facility Analysis / Assessment
- Analyze (36) months of utility bills, utility data analysis, end use profile, and energy use index.
- Facility assessment and investigation of the existing HVAC Systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, and building envelop.
- Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs) Development, Scope of work client validation – Client Verification Meeting.
- Presentation of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Costs per FIM, ROM Energy and Operational Savings per FIM, and the potential impact of any utility rebate incentives.
- ASG creates and presents the Pre-Construction Proposal that will allow ASG to develop the GMAX Costs, Energy and Ops Savings, and Estimated Rebate Incentives
Project Development for Design / Build Proposal
- Perform Detailed Energy Analysis, Heating and Cooling Load Calculations, Finalize scope of work with client involvement, Equipment BOD, Create Preliminary Design Documents
- Contractors create bids using GMAX Documents. Contractors bids are used to create the GMAX costs.
- ASG to create and present the Design / Build Proposal to the client.
Project Design / Construction
- Final design documents are created.
- Safety planning and implementation
- Subcontractor and equipment procurement
- Realistic construction schedule and 6 week look ahead schedule.
- Construction of the projects
- Test and Balance and Commissioning
- Project close out and O&Ms
