Denver Health Medical Center—Pavilion A
Location: Downtown Denver, Colorado
Apollo Denver was engaged to perform remodeling and upgrades to the Denver Health Medical Center (DHMC) --Pavilion A. As the busiest emergency room in the state of Colorado this project needed to be performed with accuracy and superior craftsmanship. Apollo Denver was trusted to to the job after many other successful projects in the past in DHMC
Many departments experienced additions and remodels including preOp, gastro intestinal, surgical ICU, surgery admin and radiology holding, post anesthesia care, and emergency rooms as well as medical gasses.
Apollo Denver executed the project seamlessly and according to HIPAA standards in one of Denver's busiest hospitals.
Relevant Project Details:
- 24 new emergency rooms
- mechanical upgrades to central plant including new air handler unit
- Surgery Admin and Radiology Holding -- Installed new SICU waiting room-- Installed new surgery waiting room -- Added additional conference rooms
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Surgery Staff -- Added (17) post-op standard bays -- Added 1 post-op negative pressure isolation room Added/upgraded conference room(s) and surgery staff room
- Pre-Op and Gastro-Intestinal Unit-- Added (18) pre-op standard bays -- Added ( 2) pre-op negative pressure isolation rooms -- Added ( 2) new complete GI procedure rooms -- Added ( 1) new scope decontamination room
