Columbia School District was like many school districts in the country, running equipment that was obsolete and had extended its useful life.

Apollo Solutions Group approached them with an innovative way to reduce their energy costs with very little capital outlay, an important objective with a limited budget and many needs.

Working closely with the leadership at Columbia School District, Apollo crafted a plan to upgrade many of the heating and cooling components of the school district's facilities, PC power management, lighting and controls.

As a result of the energy savings project, Columbia School District is enjoying an improved learning environment with a more comfortable, consistent indoor climate, better lighting, more efficient heating and cooling as well as a significant reduction in energy savings.

The savings were initially estimated at 38%, but they have been even greater coming in at almost 40%. As a result of Apollo's energy project at Columbia School District preserved capital, more funds will go directly intodirectly into the lives of the students, teachers and administrators.
