Columbia Basin Hospital is a rural critical access hospital located in Ephrata, WA. The hospital’s HVAC systems were comprised of a lot of antiquated and energy inefficient ventilation systems. The older ventilation systems also had a different controls system than the one the hospital had standardized on. The hospital saw the ESPC process as a way of achieving these upgrades while making their hospital more energy efficient.
Apollo is installing a new AHU with fan wall technology and retrofitting other small unitary units that serve critical process loads, and standardizing on the controls systems across the hospital. Apollo is also retrofitting the lighting systems with LED lighting hospital wide.
