Colorado's Alternative High School is located in the Denver suburb of Engelwood. Together with Slater Paul Architects Apollo crafted a phenomenal contemporary upgrade and remodel to the school resulting in a LEED Gold certification.
Mechanical retrofits included a new high efficiency boiler, chiller, lighting upgrades, new cooling tower and water source heat pumps.
Interiors were redone resulting in a tasteful and environmentally-friendly result. The use of natural lighting is an attractive feature of this project.
