Big Bend Community College is improving their facility’s environment through an energy savings performance contract. This contract will enable them to save significantly on energy costs, reduce maintenance costs and improve overall energy efficiency. ASG assisted Big Bend Community College in obtaining a $472,032 Energy Grant from the Washington State Dept. of Commerce. Other project features are $64,000 in incentives utilized from a Grant County PUD, campus-wide interior and exterior lighting upgrades, occupancy sensors installed in offices,classrooms, and work areas. Results of these changes will be improved learning environment, 16% reduction in annual energy costs, $27,000 first year total energy and operational savings and positive cash flow throughout the life of the project
