Apollo Solutions Group and INHS have embarked on a $7.8M Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) project on the Wells Fargo Center.
Wells Fargo Center is a commercial office building located in downtown Spokane, Washington. The facility consists of a 20 level commercial office building and an attached 5 level open parking structure.
The 257,570 square foot, 20 level office facility features two basement levels below grade and a top floor mechanical penthouse. The facility was originally built in 1981.
The energy savings project allows INHS to enhance their social, environmental and financial performance, resulting in 16.9% reduction of Wells Fargo Center’s annual energy costs.
The facility improvement measures on this project include interior and exterior lighting retrofit, water plant upgrades, automation and control upgrades, and electrical and HVAC upgrades.
The project also features utilization of $194,750 in utility incentives from Avista.
The benefits of this project include reduced energy usage, increased tenant comfort improved reliability, reduced operating costs and maintenance, and avoided capital expenses.
Construction is slated to begin in July and will continue for 18 months.
Through this energy project the upgraded Wells Fargo Center may be eligible for energy star certification
